After reading the first few pages of this book, I felt like asking the author, “what took you so long”? I had been struggling to start my home care business since 2009. I understand this book was published in Summer 2011. If I had this book back then in 2009, my business would have been fully up and running by now. Permit me to say that at this point in time, this book comes next to my Bible. I carry it around and read it over and over at every opportunity.
The author broke everything into small steps. If you are starting out in home care, this book is a must have. After each chapter, you have tasks to complete before you move on to the next chapter. Completing the tasks moves you closer to your dream of owning your own home care business. The book comes with sample forms that you may need. Their website also has very useful resources.

Simple, Easy To Read
I have worked in the geriatric arena for over 13 years with an emphasis on Alzheimer’s and education. With that said I can say I am NOT the most business savvy person in the world. Home Care How to opened my eyes to how to go about opening a Senior In Home Care Business. I would like to also say that I recently opened my own business in regards to Alzheimer’s and education and found it a useful guide even though I was not opening a In Home Care business.
I loved the way the author broke down what you needed to do to get your business off the ground. Opening a business, especially one where you are services people, of any kind is an overwhelming experince for most and I highly recommend you purchase and read and follow the easy steps in this book. I wish it would have been available when I started research in opening my education business. It would have saved me some heartache and time. I use it now as a guide and check list to see if I missed anything from the general perspective starting up my business.
