Signed up for Membership But Can’t Log In
Signing up for an account requires authenticating your email address to prevent spam and robots from blowing up our servers and email system. After submitting your name and email address, we send an automated email to you titled “Please Complete Your Registration”. If you don’t receive that email, check your SPAM or TRASH email folders. Sometimes the email can get redirected to one of those folders.
To complete your account, you must click on the encrypted link within that email (or copy and paste the link from the email into your browser) to complete your account setup. Once the link is clicked, a Registration Form appears in your browser asking you to create a username and password as well as enter other account info. Complete that form and click submit. A final confirmation email with your account info will be sent stating “Your Registration is Now Complete!” That’s it. You can now log in using the username and password you just created.
If you have checked your SPAM or TRASH folders and are sure you’ve not received the email titled “Please Complete Your Registration”, please contact us and let us know using the email address that was entered at time of Registration.
Logged into my account as a Silver Member, but can’t find the download forms.
If you’re logged in as a Silver Member and don’t see the available forms for download, chances are pretty good that you’re using Microsoft Internet Explorer. Unfortunately, Internet Explorer is not supported on our site for security reasons. We recommend using any other browser which are faster loading, more secure, use less computer power resources and provide an overall better user experience: Chrome, Firefox, Dolphin, Safari or Opera.
I forgot my password
If you have already completed your account set up (created a username/password) and have logged in previously, but forgot your password:
Reset Your Password:
- Reset your password here. Once you’ve clicked on “Reset your password”, the automated system will email you a new temporary password. Your Old Password will no longer work — it has been replaced with the new one just emailed. If your new password doesn’t work immediately, please try logging in again in a few minutes as it can take a few moments for the databases to sync with the new password.
I forgot/don’t know my Username
If you don’t know your username, there’s a pretty good chance you didn’t complete your account setup. Because the account hasn’t been completed, resetting the password won’t help.
If you haven’t completed your account set up yet (NOT created a username/password):
- To complete your account setup, which includes creating your username and password, please complete the steps in the above question. If you you haven’t received the email with the link to complete your account, please check your SPAM or TRASH email folders as sometimes the email gets redirected to one of those folders. If you don’t find it there, email us at support@homecarehowto.com and we’ll manually create and email another authentication link to you.
Paid for an eBook – where is it / where do I download it?
When you completed your purchase of an eBook, a confirmation page was displayed which included a download link for you to download the eBook. An email was also sent to you at the email address used to purchase the eBook that includes a secure download link. For your security, those links are valid for 36 hours so be sure to download the book immediately and save the file (.PDF) to a location on your hard drive that you will remember.
Downloaded an eBook but can’t find it on my computer. Will you send me another copy?
The “Home Care How To – The Guide to Starting Your Home Care Business” eBook is in PDF format and is a digital file. Save the file to your hard drive/computing device in a folder/location that you can remember and are able to retrieve it in the future.
If you downloaded the book to an iPad, PDF books often get placed into the iBooks App by default. Please open your iBooks App and locate it in the PDF tab.
In the event your file is lost or not saved, we will provide one additional copy. It is up to you to save it to a location on your computing device you will remember and can access it anytime in the future. The eBook file is NOT stored in the cloud nor do we support being able to distribute across multiple devices like the Kindle Version provides. If you wish to have it stored on the cloud or distribute to many devices, we recommend purchasing the Kindle Version. Sorry, we provide no refunds for purchased digital products which includes the eBook, as outlined in our Terms of Use.
Can I read the eBook on my Kindle?
The Amazon Kindle version of our book is available on Amazon.com HERE
The eBook version sold on this website does NOT work with the Kindle. The eBook does work with the iPad and most computing devices that support the PDF format. If you would like to enjoy the features of cloud storage and integrate the book with your Kindle, please purchase the Kindle Version. Sorry, as outlined in our Terms of Use, no refunds are provided for already purchased digital products which includes the eBook.
Purchased a book from another retailer, do I get a free membership?
Yes, Basic Membership is FREE and provides an opportunity to download un-editable PDF forms mentioned in the book. You will save a tremendous amount of time, effort and money by joining as a Silver Member, which offers all our documents and tools in fully editable formats (WORD, Excel, Powerpoint).

How do I get started with Coaching Services?
Our Coaching services are available with one prerequisite: you must purchase and read the Home Care How To Guide. We require the reading of the book in order to save you money and time from explaining the basics covered in the book.
Once you’ve read the book, simply purchase one of our Coaching Packages. We recommend the Intro to Coaching (while it’s still available) to get your feet wet and determine if further coaching services will benefit you. After you’ve completed your Intro, you can continue your coaching for as long as you like.
Will your book help if I don’t reside in the United States?
Home Care How To – The Guide To Starting Your Home Care Business is designed as a step-by-step guide that walks you through the process of starting a home care agency. The experience that author Brendan John draws from and are written about are from operating within the United States, however, the steps to start and operate a home care agency are similar in most countries.
The book discusses the necessity to become familiar with your own local and state laws. If you’re seeking to use the manual in another country, the same principles apply. Where is my paperback book?
If you’ve order a paperback edition of the Home Care How To Guide, you will receive a Product Shipped Confirmation email from PayPal containing your tracking number. We typically process book orders within 24 (business) hours from purchase and send them via USPS Priority Mail, with weekends and Holidays processed the next business day. It usually takes 3 to 4 days within the USA once we have shipped.
